Videos

- The Decision to Vaccinate Affects Us All – As the 2024 holiday season was approaching, I worked with Healthy Savannah’s REACH team to develop public service collateral including this video, entitled “Let’s Stay HEALTHY Together”. It is a reminder that as families and friends look forward to gatherings filled with joy, love, and shared traditions, to prioritize their health and that of their loved ones by getting vaccinated.
- Creating a Brighter Future for Coastal Georgia’s Children – In 2024, as a member of Carriage Trade PR’s Visibility team, this is one of three PSA videos I developed for the Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition (CGIC) to elevate the visibility of the organization and highlight its mission with community members and advocates working together through a comprehensive coordinated approach for planning accountability to address overall health and well-being while leveraging resource initiatives.
- Anatomy of a Video Project – How do you take a video project from concept to completion on time, on budget and on track? Here’s how the pieces clicked into place for a series of videos I wrote and produced for the American Fence Association.
- Video Reel – These are excerpts from videos I wrote, directed and produced for the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the American Fence Association.
- Savannah High School 1974 Memories – A labor of love, creating a collage of music and yearbook memories featuring the top 10 songs of 1974 for Savannah High School’s class of 1974’s 50th reunion on June 8, 2024.
- Savannah High School 1974 – Always in our Hearts – A video tribute in memoriam to classmates who will always be remembered in our hearts, presented at SHS Class of 1974’s 50th reunion on June 8, 2024.
- Barney Fife Impersonator – A colleague needed a demo reel for his emerging business as a celebrity impersonator for corporate events. Thinking fast on a zero budget, script development for this project took place on the back of an envelope over lunch. Then, with the talent riding shotgun, we jumped in my car and I phoned my mother-in-law to ask for her help. She called her town mayor in Daisy, Georgia, and sought permission for us to use the main street for our shoot. He agreed, I shot the video on my cell phone and later edited it together on my desktop computer.

Agency Work

As the account manager for Milne Fruit Products, a B2B food manufacturer, I developed the company’s first annual marketing plan in 2012, served as e-newsletter editor from 2010-2012 and developed web content for a major upgrade in 2011 and subsequent updates through 2012. I also managed a number of conference support initiatives in 2011-2012.
As the account supervisor for Graceland Fruit Products, a B2B food processor, I developed annual marketing campaigns in 2008-10 for one of the world’s largest single providers of dried fruit products. These included print ads, a media kit with media tours, national and international trade show support and a major web upgrade. I also provided account support for Otsuka America’s introduction of Wild Veggie to the American consumer
market in 2007-09. Wild Veggie is a line of great-tasting, minimally processed and nutrient-rich plant-based foods. I created and implemented annual marketing plans, developed and oversaw B2B and B2C marketing collateral, coordinated with retailers and managed trade show support.

As the account manager for the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) from 2007-2012, I developed brand strategy and marketing plans, wrote and managed public relations, marketing materials, newsletters and web content. In 2011, I also developed and launched the “Get Fit with GAPA” initiative in collaboration with Georgia State Parks.
From 2007-2012 I wrote a number of feature articles for Making a Difference Magazine, produced by the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities. Here are direct links to two of them:
- Planting the seeks of Community Building Inspires Food Justice Movement
- What is Self-Direction and is it Right for Me?

In 2012 I wrote web content for Cobb2020, a health initiative in Cobb County, GA. The messaging encourages residents to choose healthy foods, exercise more and refrain from tobacco use.
Much of my association marketing work is in conference support. This includes developing mailers and emails for potential attendees and vendors, as well as developing ad materials. I wrote and produced these materials for GAPA and the Association of Physician Assistants in Family Practice (AFPPA) from 2009-2012. Both organizations hold two annual conferences that draw from 200 to 700 attendees each. These events, held in resort locations, offer continuing medical education for PAs and other mid-level providers.
One of GAPA’s missions is to provide increased health literacy to Georgians. From 2007 – 2012, I wrote and published more than 35 Health Watch public education bulletins and developed press releases about the organization, along with PSA radio spots.
While serving as interim project manager for the Association of PAs in Cardiovasculary Survery in 2011, I produced the CardioVISION newsletter and developed an email program that helped boost conference attendance and membership, resulting in a substantial net profit for the Winter 2012 CME conference.

From 2007-2011, I was the video writer and producer for the American Fence Association’s FenceTech ’08, 09, ’11 and ’12 conferences. I also wrote copy for AFA’s The Voice and FencePost magazines and wrote press releases about the Association.
